We have all had bad days, but I have had a tough week!
It all started Sunday, when I discovered I have a major water line outside that is leaking, or busted or something, that will be taken care of tomorrow, but now I have a soggy front yard!
Then Monday, the screen on my laptop started blinking and within a few minutes went black! I thought I had a spare monitor to plugin, but, after digging it out, the thing was so blurry, I couldn’t read anything! So, the hunt is on for a suitable replacement, that has takem a couple of days, but, will also be taken care of tomorrow, well, at least it will be ordered! Have you tried shopping for a laptop lately?
Today, after buying a monitor, to hold me over until my newlaptop gets here, I come home to check out my sites, email and such, and guess what? My host shut down my account! After calling support, I am told that I have a script that went crazy! My first thought was this site, support infomed me that to get my account activated, I had to read through 92 Megabytes of error logs! That sounds worse than it was, luckily they were separated by date, so, after reading through about 6 of them, there it was, a plugin that I use on all of my sites went bad and was locking up!
Anyway, I resolved that issue and they turned everything back on. As it was, I still had like two days of backlog to deal with, I felt like the guy in the picture! I hope it doesn’t happen again, but as of now, everything should be ok!
For those that were here surfing when they shut it down, sorry about that. There is a bright spot, not even a minute, I mean seconds, after they turned it back on, I came here and the traffic was moving! You folks are great! Thanks for sticking with it! Surf on everybody!
Hey, I hate to sound this way, but I have had enough! We are getting about 2-20 new members, every day, yes, this is a good thing, BUT, there are a few here and there, that sign-up and never surf! As you all know, I will not activate any sites that belong to an account that has not surfed the required minimum, and I had been sending one email a week, on Tuesday, alerting New Members that if they did not surf, they would lose their account, but, there will be NO MORE emails of that sort!
Many of our members are hard workers and surf very regularly, that is why this traffic exchange is one of the exchanges that are growing, and not shrinking in our traffic output.
